of recreation, skateboarders
are convited and treated
as criminals for skateboarding.
Young skateboarders in their
pre and early teen years
are being assaulted by officers
using unneccessary force
to restrain them.
Although not all police officers
are against skateboarders,
there are several who
over use their “authority.”
What are a few chunks
taken out of a concrete ledge
or a few paint marks on a handrail
going to hurt?
Nothing.
In our pursuit of happiness
through skateboarding,
we are criminalized
and punished by the “authority.”
The stylization of the officer
suggest the true feelings held
about them.
We live in America,
ride free
and pursue what makes you happy.
